The Tale of Little Riding Hood

　　Little riding hood lived near the wood.

　　She was pretty and clever and did as she should，

　　until one day grany took to her bed.

　　“I‘ll cheer her up with some cakes，”thought Red.

　　She met a wolf on the road on her way，

　　Who asked“Where are you going on this fine summer’s day？”

　　“I am going to see my grandmother，”she said.

　　“I‘ve a plan！”thought the Wolf as she rushed ahead......

　　When the wolf arrived the grandmother’s house，

　　He knocked then spoke as softly as a mouse.

　　“Come in，Little Red！”called Gran from her bed

　　But in came the wolf and gobbled her up instead！

　　Little Red Hood arrived some time after，

　　as she walked through the door she heard deep laughter.

　　“Is that you，Grandmother？”she asked quite surprised

　　To the wolf in the bed with rather larger eyes.

　　“What large eyes，you have！”Little Red Hood said.

　　“All the better to see you，”growled the wolf from the bed

　　“And what large teeth！”Red said stepping nearer.

　　“All the better to eat you，”he said leaping after her.

　　As luck would have it，a Woodcutter nearby，

　　Ran into the house at Little Red Hood‘s cry.

　　He wracked the wolf who let out a shout.

　　With this her grandmother popped right out！

　　Talked to a stranger you meet by chance in the wood.

　　戴紅頭巾的小女孩的傳說

　　紅頭巾的小女孩住在樹林的附近，

　　她又美麗又聰明，她所做也是她所應該和能做的，

　　直到有一天奶奶病倒到床上。

　　“我將用一些蛋糕讓她高興高興，”紅頭巾說。

　　聽到紅頭巾的叫聲跑進屋里。
